fall 2024 Contest Theme

Music has the power to transform lives

Music can bring people together, regardless of their abilities, to help build a sense of community which provides a positive impact in each of our lives. At the core of our everyday experience with music, we use it to relax, express ourselves, come to terms with our emotions, and generally improve our well-being. Group music-making activities like chamber music, workshop, and recital performances can help people develop social skills and build friendships. As a tool for healing, it has been researched that music releases chemicals in our brain that impact our feelings of love, trust, and happiness. For this year's cover design contest, share with us how music has the power to transform lives.
