For well over a century, the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) has been the backbone for a collaborative community of music-teaching professionals, connecting both the seasoned educator and those at the beginning of their careers. Joining MTNA is an investment in crucial musical commodities like continuing education, career development, peer recognition and networking programs—all designed specifically for you.
HMTA
The Hawaii Music Teachers Association has been promoting the art of music teaching in Hawaii for over 50 years. As an HMTA member, you and your students gain access to local educational and performance opportunities such as competitions, masterclasses, workshops and student recitals.
Membership Levels
Active Membership: $123.00
Active Membership is available to any individual professionally engaged in a music activity who is also a member of an affiliated state association. Active members enjoy all benefits of membership and are entitled to participate in all MTNA activities, vote and hold office.
Senior Membership (age 70+): $102.25
Individuals over age 70 qualify for Senior Membership rates, with all the same benefits and entitlements of Active Membership.
Patron Membership: $83.00
Patron Membership is open to all individuals who are not professionally engaged in any field of musical activities but wish to support the programs of MTNA. Patron members enjoy many benefits of membership including MTNA-member rates when registering for MTNA programs, and they receive member publications but do not have the right to vote or hold office.
Collegiate Membership: $24.00
Collegiate Membership is open to all college music students who are also members of an affiliated state association and a collegiate chapter if available. Collegiate members enjoy all benefits of membership, but do not have the right to vote or hold office or enter students in MTNA Competitions. The collegiate membership year runs from October 1 through September 30.
